About the Skot LED Upgrade Kit

The Skot light was developed in the early 1900s by LK (Lauritz Knudsen). It was originally developed for ships and maritime areas, but it has also become popular in other environments where its compact and sturdy design has appeal. The LED-upgrade kit for Skot contains all the required parts to make Skot even more future-proof that it already is.

  • The fixture is available with two types of distribution: symmetric or half shaded. The half shaded is only recommended for wall mounting. The opal diffuser creates a soft light distribution. For higher efficiency the clear version can be selected. The LED-upgrade kit (also referred to as LED Retrofit kit) allows you to replace the old electrical components with a complete modern new LED unit, while retaining the original fixture.
