About the Homann Wall M2 Retrofit Kit

The Homann wall light was designed by Alfred Homann in 1981 to suit incandescent bulbs. The design was modified in 1987 to create Homann M2 Wall, suitable for compact fluorescent bulbs. The wall light is based on a classic geometric shape – a quarter sphere. The light illuminates the back plate to give a clear perception of its shape. The wall light has been designed for the purpose of illuminating façades, entrances and stairways.

  • The fixture emits glare-free light directed downwards. The gap between the back plate and shade allows the back plate and façade to be faintly illuminated and highlights the shape of the fixture. The inner surface is painted white, providing soft diffused light.
